September–December Offerings | Fall 2026

Hello Mon Ami Families and Creative Friends,

As summer wraps up and everyone finds their school-year footing again, Mon Ami is ready to welcome you back into the studio. This fall brings a fuller schedule than ever — with room for both the families who thrive on a weekly rhythm and the ones who need a little flexibility.

Here's everything happening from September through December.

🍁 What's New This Fall

✨ Two Six-Week Sessions

We're running fall in two parts, so you can join us for one or stay for both.

Part A · September 21 – October 30 Part B · November 2 – December 18

Each session holds a few projects, and most stretch across two or three weeks. That extra time is intentional — it's what lets our artists layer, revisit, change their minds, and really live inside a material.

Part A projects:

  • Paper mâché self-portraits — built in layers, painted however each artist sees themselves

  • Collage: the small things of life — a close-looking project about the details we usually walk past

  • A drawing study in light and shadow

Part B projects:

  • Sculptural paper mâché frames, with paintings made to live inside them

  • Charcoal and ink — smudging, scratching, layering, discovering what each material wants to do

  • Watercolor layers — each artist choosing their own fall forest creature

A gentle note: think of this as our map, not our itinerary. Some weeks a project stretches because a group falls in love with an idea, and sometimes a material takes us somewhere I didn't plan. That's not a detour — that's the good part. If your artist comes home with something that looks nothing like what I've described here, that's usually the best sign of all.

✨ Drop-In Hours Continue

Drop-ins are staying! Look for us:

  • Fridays 2:00–3:30 — expanded hours, since it's an early-release day for many schools

  • Saturdays 9:30–11:00 — a family session, for grown-ups and kids to make side by side

Each drop-in is a complete-in-a-day project. Come once, come every week — whatever fits your family.

📅 Dates to Keep in Mind

  • Saturday, October 31 — Studio Open House! Come see the fall work on our walls, say hello, and peek at what's coming in Part B. Costumes very welcome. Free, and everyone's invited.

  • Wednesday, November 11 — No School Workshop, 10am–12pm. Wednesday artists, this one counts as your class for the week, and friends are welcome to join us.

  • November 23–25 — Thanksgiving Break Camp. Three mornings in the studio while school's out. Book a single day or save with the three-day bundle.

  • No classes Thanksgiving week (Nov 23–27) apart from camp.

  • Studio closes for winter on December 21.

Many local schools hold parent-teacher conferences in the fall — if a longer session or expanded drop-in hours that week would help your family, let me know! I always build the schedule around what you need.

🎉 Weekend Workshops & Parties

Saturday afternoons remain open for birthday parties, private events, and creative group gatherings. If you've got an artist to celebrate or an idea you'd like to bring into the studio, reach out and let's plan it.

🧑‍🎨 Adult Art Offerings

Friday evening adult classes continue, 6:30–7:30 — no experience needed, all materials provided, and one hour that belongs entirely to you. If there's a medium or project you've been hoping for, send me a message. I truly love hearing your ideas.

💌 With Gratitude

Classes are small — eight artists — and one signup holds your spot for all six weeks. Everything is bookable at monamiartstudios.com.

One scheduling note: I'll be away September 4–17. Registration stays open the whole time, so grab your spot whenever you like — I'll answer messages as soon as I'm back.

Thank you for sharing your creativity, trust, and presence at Mon Ami. If you need help finding the right class or session for your artist, just reach out — I'm always happy to help you find your art rhythm this fall.

With warmth and appreciation, Teacher Gabriella Mon Ami Art Studios Art for all ages, always with heart.
